The Eyes of a Young Teen
Everyday is a new day for life
Sometimes I see joy in people's eyes
Other times I see sadness
Every morning I pray for a new wonderful day
I pray for peace, joy, laughter and for prosperity
ever since September 11
My world changed
I worry now,
What happened that day opened my eyes....
and showed me the gift of life
Now I realize how valuable life is
I think to myself at night while I lay in bed
There are people out there who don't care about others
lives
The world knows them as TERRORISTS
Many children have been witnessing TERRORISTS doing
acts like September 11
Suicide bombers...
Why???
Take their life and innocent people!
IT'S NOT FAIR!!!
Why????
I say to myself over and over again
Why???
It's clear to me now
There are so many good people out there
but there are those who are not
People who take others lives away
Those innocent people that die have family friends and
so much more out there for them
So what I have to say after my eyes have seen this is
Live your life as great as you can
You have so much out
there for you
Don't let horrible things happening
around you put you down
Life is a wonderful gift
Enjoy the great parts of it!
