Alex P.'s Advice List

  1. Be frank and to-the point when you talk to people, they're not interested in listening to you go on forever
  2. Always have a good come-back prepared
  3. Make friends wherever you go, and stay in contact with them, you never know when they'll come in handy
  4. If you disagree with what a teacher says, or what grade they give you - speak your mind
  5. Trust your gut, always
  6. Read, whenever you're bored, it's really good for you
  7. Eat Yogurt
  8. Call up all of your old relatives, they'll remember it when they next give you a present
  9. When you're at a party, work the crowd, be sure to hang out with everyone you like
  10. Surround yourself with your closest friends (especially when in school), but don't be exclusive
  11. Start a charity project, people will really respect you for it
  12. Watch the news
  13. Plan for everything as much as possible, it will really make things work a lot better
  14. If you don't live there, visit NYC every few months. Israel- yearly
  15. Tell your close friends how you feel, family- dont bother, but friends can always relate
  16. Always be thankful that you're healthy
  17. Try new styles of music, clothes, and food
  18. Smile!

Nicole G.'s Advice List

  1. Smile at random people in the street, even if they give you weird looks.
  2. Play hide and seek when you’re a kid. Play hide and seek when you’re a teenager at a friend’s house after school.
  3. Adopt a dog. They’re mucho fun.
  4. Pretend you like the clothes that your Grandmother got for you, even if it is just to make her happy.
  5. Always choose the corners in tic-tac-toe.
  6. Look hard for true friends; don’t worry about the fake ones. Your true friends will always give you good advice when you’re having some issues.
  7. If you are ever feeling down, look at a picture of Josh Harnett. Trust me, it will cheer you up.
  8. Cherish your youth and childhood, you will definitely want it back later on in life.
  9. Watch Gilmore Girls.
  10. No matter what, your family is always there for you.
  11. Running away from your problems will only make them catch up quicker.
  12. Make an effort to speak to people that you normally don’t, and try extra hard to make them smile.
  13. Junk food is good for you.
  14. Save your old letters and pictures in a box, and every once in a while open them up.
  15. Find a place, a spot, an area that you just wish you were everyday, and make it your goal to be there in the near future.
  16. Stand up for what you believe in. Don’t judge a person for what they believe in.
  17. Organize what you have to do in advance, so it doesn’t body slam you the night before. Stay focused.
  18. Read advice lists, they are most likely to solve any problem you might have.
