STUDENT'S ART WILL FLY ON
ALIYAH JET ALONG WITH ARTIST
Jerusalem - Nefesh B'Nefesh (www.nbn.org.il) the organization which has helped nearly 4,000 North American Jews move to Israel in recent years, today announced a coast-to-coast competition for Jewish students in the sixth to eighth grades.
The winner will not only have his or her design based on the theme of "Homeward Bound" painted onto the organization's summer flights for newcomers, but will be invited to be accompanied by a parent and principal or teacher, for a FREE trip to Israel in Summer 2005.
"This contest is a creative idea through which young people will have a
wonderful opportunity to express themselves on a subject that all of us
hold close to our hearts,"explained Rabbi Yehoshua Fass, founder and
Executive Director of NefeshB'Nefesh. "This is a great chance for students
throughout the U.S. &
Canada to discuss, connect and feel the concept of Aliyah and Homeward
Bound."
All competition rules and regulations can be found at:
www.nbn.org.il/logocontest, along with other general information about
Nefesh B'Nefesh.
Deadline for submissions is Israel Independence Day, May 12, 2005. All Jewish students in the 6th-8th grades in the US and Canada are eligible to compete.
