Sometimes I wish I could record my memories.
The happy ones
The sad ones
The ones that fill me with warmth
The ones that fill me with pain.
Memories
We carry them with us, they shape us
Our lives
Our opinions
Our futures
Memories
You can't erase them
Or can you?
You can't change them
Or can you?
Memories
Somtimes I lie in bed and just remember
I remember smiling
I remember eating ice cream
I remember riding a pony
I remember swimming
I remember the warm touch of the sun
Memories
Sometimes the memories just come
I remember crying
I remember screaming
I remember pain
I remember the unbearable
Memories
I keep them in a pretty box
The good and bad
Together
I like to think of them
Keeping each other company
The good, the bad and the ugly
My memories.
