If someone you know has registered for a free trip to Israel with Taglit-birthright israel, and they were put on a waiting list due to lack of space, please have them call 1-877-SACHLAV. By switching from their Trip Organizer to Sachlav, they have a good chance of getting into Sachlav's December 16 trip.
Taglit-birthright israel provides a gift of first-time, peer group, educational trips to Israel for Jewish young adults, ages 18 to 26. The gift is provided by Taglit-birthright israel; the experience is provided by a number of approved Trip Organizers. Sachlav Educational Experience is a Trip Organizer accredited by Taglit-birthright israel to operate an approved program. Sachlav's programs are unique in that the groups are composed of participants from different Jewish backgrounds. The groups travel all over Israel, from the north to the south, including such destinations as the Old City of Jerusalem, Tsfat, the Golan Heights, Tel Aviv, the Negev, and Eilat.
To get into the December 16 trip, one must already be registered for a Winter '08 trip with Taglit-birthright israel.
