"I hear it calling, even from thousands of miles away...
I guess I just havesuper-sensitive hearing...
...But really it's in me and I hear it every day."

IT'S CALLING

I hear a voice calling from far away
It used to be oh so faint--
But it rises by decibels every day
And never have I felt it so near
As it is now--Right next to me
I hear it, I see it,
I can feel it-- though it's inanimate-- I see
I listen and feel and sense it near me
It surrounds me, enclothes me,
Runs my whole day
Not a moment passes without the longing
The yearning will always stay

For the desert winds
The sea breezes
Structures new and old
A land where time freezes
Where life is endless
And endless is life itself in its own
A haven of joy and happiness calls
A heaven where life itself is grown
Fresh air for the physical body
And fresh air for the soul
A lifetime for a moment--
A lifetime will make me whole.
