Dear Readers!
Everyone is about to agree that it is important and neccessary to remember
such a terrible and warning moment in history as the Holocaust during
World War II. I am not able to express my feelings and attitude to this in
my mother language (Czech) nor in English. but I hope that my message
will be understandable a little bit.
There are many question about this experience, but unfortunately no
satisfying response. My opinion is, that people (who in fact caused that
horror and were the main actors) can't give the gratifying solution and
answer. Only G-d knows where the truth is; we are just people. Sometimes
I'm afraid, whether I am allowed or whether I can talk about it this way,
because I didn't experience it myself (and nobody from my family did).
On the other hand, I must talk about it because especially in my country
after 40 years of the communistic system, when talk about this problem was
tabu, there is only a little material about it (now I mean mainly at
schools). So we must write about it, learn about it and read about it...
Many people say that this issue was so talked and it is so known, that it
almost make people bored (when they hear about it every day - as they
say). I can't agree with this opinion. I think it is an alibi, because
people are naive and they forget quickly. And as the political and social
on the world isn't very "pink", and as Haider can say what he says without
being punished, I feel a bigger and bigger fear as to what we will face.
My appeal is: do not forget and try to behave according to your best
conscience. Goodbye
